Investigation of potential bribery in the Jas Gripen - South African purchasing business resumes

Police in South Africa will resume work on the investigation of bribery in connection with the purchase of Jas Gripen.

Radio Sweden reports that following Saab’s admission in June that there was a suspected bribes payment in connection with the Gripen deal, police in that country is now taking a closer look into the deal.

About Skr24 million was played with within the advisory body of the then South African -defence ministry.
As part of the investigation the authorities in Sweden and the UK will be contacted according to radio Sweden quoting South African Sunday Times.
