Ikea’s Kamprad promises "total transparency" in the company

Furniture giant Ikea has promised to apply "total transparency" in order to avoid accusations of concealing money in tax havens.


Founder Ingvar Kamprad takes the blame for the past secrecy, according to reports published on the tabloid paper Expressen.
Kamprad feea that it was a total fiasco when the allegations that he has been carrying out intense tax planning and transferring money to various tax havens. For it was “wrong, "he told the newspaper.
Ingvar Kamprad and his sons have decided on total transparency in the Ikea Group, controlled by a foundations, at a family meeting in Copenhagen on Monday, writes Expressen.
