Ikea founder Ingvar Kamprad buys into construction company, Peab
Monday, 19 September 2011
Construction Company Peab sells 8.6 million shares, representing 2.9 percent of the capital, the Ikea founder Ingvar Kamprad.

Peab and Ikea already have a cooperation agreement on the furniture giant's expansion in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
"With that background, and the importance of having strong owners, it feels very positive that Ingvar Kamprad is the owner of Peab" says Peab's CEO Jan Johansson in a statement

The transaction has occurred as a direct off-exchange trade at a price of Skr34:96 per share, equivalent to Peab's closing price on Friday. This means that the Kamprad paid around Skr300 million for the shares.
