Danish shipping giant, AP Moller Maersk is recruiting 48-year-old Henrik Ehlers Kragh to work as a specialist combatant against piracy in an effort to fight the Somali pirate insurgents.

Henrik Ehlers Kragh has since 1982 served in both combat units and staffs at all levels but has also supplemented his military training with a master in preventing and managing disasters.

The last four years the new anti-piracy chief worked for the defence sector in the Development department and as an analyst at the Danish Institute for International Studies, where he has focused on the combined civilian and military efforts and the creation of weak states.

And the new anti-piracy manager will need both his military experience and the academic superstructure.
The Danish shipping and oil companies are getting tired of pirates and want the international community to deal with it effectively.

“It is an unacceptable situation which requires more focus and determination to do something about it than the politicians, "said the Chief CEO of Maersk Line, Erik Rabjerg-Nielsen to Danish news agency Ritzau.

Therefore it becomes one of the Anti piracy manager's duties to talk to both international politicians, organizations and competitors, and so he must formulate a pirate strategy for the company.

The international view  would be that which would give the shipping giant an understanding of the route helped by feed from the anti piracy head who must have checked the way before ships set sails for places such as Mumbai in India  and or and Manila in the Philippines.
