Danish Bank, Danske bank loosing major customers big time

Danish giant Bank, Danske Bank’s inability to provide loans and commitments during the financial crisis is now hitting the bank very hard. Several well-run Danish companies have in recent years left the bank for other banks or cut down significantly on their loans from Danske Bank,

The Danish daily newspaper Jyllands-Posten has carried out an examination of how the banks’ consumer base has evolved in the past year – especially among the corporate which provide real returns to the bank.


According to Jyllands-Posten trendy media componenet producer, Bang & Olufsen have said goodbye and thanks.
The newspaper reports that an anonymous sources in companies such as Hempel, Lego, Danfoss, have reportedly shifted large parts of their banking business over with, others such as, Nordea and others.

Bang & Olufsen has decidedly chosen to leave the bank completely after more than 30 years of cooperation. Sources in the companies explained to the newspaper that opting out of the Danish bank is a result of the bank's approach in recent years.

Denmark's largest bank acknowledges having been restrained during the crisis period. But the time is now over, says Danske Bank's press Chief Donald Klinkby and refers to various polls which show that they customer satisfaction is great.

"The fact is that if you look at measurements of high customer satisfaction, Danske Bank is far on top of its competitors in Denmark. It is true that we were cautious during the financial crisis and in the immediate periods. But development has been reversed and we would very much like to welcome new customers, "says Anders Klinkby.
