Danes to be chased away from the new Cimber Sterling leadership

As the former Danish airliner Cimber Sterling moves to the hands of the Ukrainians, both the Chairman and the CEO of the company is likely to move to move as the Ukrainian billionaire Igor Kolomojskij via company Mansvell Enterprises takes control over the ailing company.

Media reports from Denmark suggest that Cimber Sterling's former CEO, Jacob Krogsgaard expects be sacked as chairman and Vilhelm Hahn-Pedersen have to accept a position as an ordinary member of the new board.

Altogether, the Danish influence in the reconstructed company will be seriously limited according to information expected to filter from an extraordinary general meeting on Friday in S´┐Żnderborg. Here the proposal to pump in some extra Dkr165 million in Cimber Sterling will be considered.

This gives the Ukrainian investor and billionaire 70 percent ownership of the company and will freely decided who to run it. Reports hold that the Swede Lars-Ake Bertilsson from Skyways will becomes new CEO of Sterling, Cimber, while Ukrainian Gregorij Gurtovoj becomes new chairman of the company.
