Bank robberies in Sweden continue to decline. So far this year the reduction is 35 percent and the average number of robberies per month is the lowest in 20 years, figures from the Swedish Bankers' Association show. This is the third consecutive year that bank robberies decline.

Also robberies against security transporters have also gone down. Bankers' Association explain the decline in that banks have invested heavily in improving safety, and that the need for cash has decreased.
