Sunday, 05 February 2012
The Chinese company, Youngman which wants to buy the bankrupt Saab automobile, is reported to have placed a multi-billion bid for Saab Automobile in Trollhättan, according to reports in Swedish media.
According to radio Sweden referring to multiple sources, the bid would mean continued automobile production in Trollhättan, if it goes through.
According to radio Sweden, the sources say that the company would have submitted a bid several days ago. But the administrators have not yet responded to it.
Youngman has previously claimed that they could make Saab's current model 9-3 in the factory without GM's approval.
Along with the production of Lotus Cars, which Youngman already has an agreement, it would mean that more than 1,000 employees would be needed in the Trollhättan factory, reports radio Sweden.
