Vladimir Antonov emphasizes that it is his firm belief that Saab can be a successful, well run and profitable Swedish car company.

“We do not mind meeting him if it can be arranged in time. In particular, we look at Maud Olofsson to have a meeting with him, "said Hkan Lind, Ministry press officer.
But the meeting does not determine if and when Antonov can get government approval to be part of the Saab automobile family.

“It has no practical significance for the process for we would have contacted him "said Hkan Lind to one sources, regional newspaper TTELA.
The government maintains that the EIB and GM must first come up with their answers.

“These are those who have a history of opposition to him, "said Hkan Lind.
The government has received decision in support of him from the National Debt Office, which met him a few months ago and feels that Antonov was fit to be a partner of Saab.
