Tuesday, 27 December 2011
The Swedish corporate tax rate must be reduced from 20 to 15 percent, considers industrialist Rune Andersson, who is a member of the government's business tax committee.

Corporate Tax Committee will submit a first progress report next year. But already the Rune is working hard to set corporation tax to be cut substantially.
"When we lowered the Swedish corporate tax rate to 26.3 percent, we were roughly some of the lowest on average in Europe. Now it makes sense to cut down to almost 20 percent as much as happened since then, "he says according to Swedish business daily, Dagens Industri

According to Rune, corporation taxes should be down to between 15 and20 percent. This will be funded by reducing the ability of companies to deduct various interests, he believes.

Rune is one of six members of the Government's business tax committee.
